Over the past 35 years, Newport News Industrial (NNI) has provided services to more than half of the country's nuclear utilities and to scores of fossil fuel and hydroelectric plants, refineries, chemical plants, and paper mills.  NNI ranks among the nation's leading specialty service contractors, focusing its skills primarily on valve and boiler water circulating pump services.  NNI is currently broadening its focus to include maintenance and repair of turbines, diesels, heat exchangers, and condensers as well as modifications and repair of major piping and electrical systems.   NNI is currently supporting naval overhauls by testing, repairing, and refurbishing valves, heat exchangers and miscellaneous components.   NNI also manufactures the  "C-Worthy™" line of shock mounts.   These mounts have been successful in qualifying commercial off-the-shelf equipment (COTS) for Naval Application.
