Newport News Industrial works to some of the most stringent quality control requirements in the world ranging from nuclear safety related specifications for commercial nuclear plant construction and maintenance to SUBSAFE repair specifications for critical components on nuclear submarines. Our ISO-9001 compliant quality program governs all work we perform. Supplemental programs implement the requirements of ASME, National Board, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Navy, and Department of Energy codes and specifications. We are certified by ASME and the National Board for manufacture and repair of pressure vessels, safety/relief valve testing and repair, as well as the manufacture and repair of nuclear components. Our people and processes are also qualified to applicable industry specifications.
