HotGuard™ Radiation Shielding

HotGuard™ is Newport News Industrial’s innovative solution to your lead shielding problems. HotGuard™ is a gamma radiation shielding product that outperforms standard lead wool blankets.

• Lead-free & Non-hazardous
• Environmentally friendly composite shielding products.
• Radiation attenuation exceeds lead wool blankets.
• Grommets, velcro, handles, and various covers improve handling and installation options.
• Can optimize balance of weight and shielding capability through custom formulations.
• Closed cell material is water repellent.

HotGuard™ is available in blankets, fabric reinforced pipe wrap, custom moldings, and can be ordered in sheets that are easily cut to fit.
